Slow but good progress

While I was out walking around the village taking in the sights and mental notes I ran across some ladies at the park. They waved me over and allowed me to eat lunch with them. They were rather nice and a breath of fresh air.

First plant for the community garden

I finally found a place where I wanted to start my community garden. I just hope that the plants grow well here. The first one to go into the ground is garlic. Once a week I will be stopping by to take care of the garden and eventually be able to harvest and bring home what I get.

A good day

For once I had a good day. I was able to fish with some locals and they did not run from me. Looks like things are finally going well for me. I will sleep good tonight.

Back to my roots

I woke up this morning with an urge to fish. Figuring it would be a good idea I went down to the dock joining a few locals. They were nice as we chatted while waiting for the fish to bite. It was a good morning.
