Aftermath

He has taken his fill of my blood and left me to collapse on the floor face first. You would think he would have been nice enough to put me back in bed. This will be painful when I wake up.

My worst fear

My worst fear came true. This vampire not only broke into my home where I am supposed to be safe but he also attacked me. I was in such a daze I had no control over my own body. It was as if he was controlling himself. God only know's what effects will be left after he is finished with me. 

A powerful man

I had no idea how powerful he was until he got in and made his way to my room. I do not know what he was doing to me and I was trying hard to act like I was still asleep. I hope he does not kill me.

Locked doors?

I could have sworn I had that door locked so no one could get in! This is not good at all. If I did not know any better I would think he was a thief but I know hes a vampire. I had seen him around before but never had any contact with him.

I thought I was safe

Being in such a large manor you would think you would be safe. With out guards roaming around that is not the case. This man broke into my home and I was not even aware he was there until it was to late.

Stress Relief

I found writing in my journal every night helps with the stress of the day. I was so stressed when I first took over as Lady of the village. It is easier to handle now that I have a way to release that stress. Who knows perhaps the spirit might move me to try my hand at writing books.

Practice makes perfect!

With a little practice I think I have it down with this stove. Now my food doesn't have a burnt taste to parts of it. It smells sooo good! I can not wait to learn new recipes to try.

Fish anyone?

I figure if I want to eat fish for a meal I need to get it myself. I tried stopping by the butcher and he was fresh out since my dad died there was no one to catch any for him. Perhaps when I get a good enough skill I can sell my catch to him.

Trying to cook

New home, new stove. Each stove is a bit different and this one seems to be a bit difficult which it should not be. Lord I hope I don't burn the eggs. My mother would be shaking her head and dad, well he would have found it funny.

No sales?

I sat here all afternoon after running around for hours finding stuff to sell. What thanks do I get? Nothing. People stopped by looked at what was here and turned up their noses. Do they not realize how hard it is to run a village let a lone find the funds to keep everyone alive?!

Time to make money

Well I may be the Heir to the village but, I have no money. Per my fathers instruction I must collect and sell what I find everyday in order to make ends meet until they villagers start paying me taxes.  Here goes nothing. Let's hope I can make enough to at least eat for tonight.

Head of the table

Heavy is the head that wears the crown. Sitting at the head of the very empty table I realized that the entire village is depending on me to make this work. There were so many before me after my fathers passing that failed and now the heir is here. I can not fail these people. I will do what ever it takes to make sure my people do not starve to death or die of unnatural causes.

Curfew

Well with everything done its time to get home. I have to be home no later than six pm. Apparently the area is not safe after the sun sets. As lady of the village I need to set an example for the others to follow. I will have to see if I can talk to one of the guards to find out why. For now time to eat maybe have a little fun and write in my journal.
