Now that I have my volunteer work out of the way I can search for seeds to replant in the community garden and find stuff I can sell.Still pretty tired but I must keep going. Last thing I want is for the villagers to die of starvation.

Time to work in the community
I know I do not look happy. My birth parents are dead and I am tired. But I must keep going, moving forward. The next thing on my fathers list is to volunteer in the community one day a week. So off I go for my first day of volunteer work. Hopefully I will get into a good routine and won't get tired so quick. Living as a fisherman's daughter you would think I would be used to this kind of life. On the go from the time I get up to the time I go to bed.

Exploring the castle.
I absolutely love the huge fire places in the castle. The one we had back home was small but we also had a tiny house so it did not need a huge fireplace to keep us warm. I think that my birth parents would have spent a lot of time in here so I thought this would be a great place for their urns to sit. I just hope they do not cause much trouble.

Early wake up
According to dads list I need to get up at 5 am every morning and no later than that. Which I can understand. When you get up at that time every morning you have more time to do things you need during the day. This is not a problem for me since I get up around this time every morning anyway. Time to get my day started.

Alone in a castle
I found out the hard way that I am all alone in this huge castle. It seems after my birth parents died their staff left and refused to return. For now I eat alone, I live alone. Its a good thing I know how to cook so I won't die any time soon. I'm sure the residents would love if I lost my life. They do not want some poor fisherman's daughter and proven to be the child of the late Lord and Lady Randwulf. They have all but told me this in their looks and stares when I am in town.

Digging for gold
Since I now am the Lady of Randwulf castle I need to find a way to make money. I helped my parents by digging up stuff to sell in town. Perhaps I can do the same thing now and not only make money but get to know the villagers and hear our what they have to say. A few did look at me funny while I was digging in the ground.

Learning new skills
I had no idea how much stuff was in this castle until I started wandering around and exploring. One thing I found in the front sitting room was this pipe organ. That is one thing I have always wanted to learn how to play. Now I get the chance to. This will help with the stress and will give me something fun to do. I will have to check out the other things around the castle to play with. There are tons of bookcases here to!

The list
My father had a list on his desk of things I needed to do everyday. I hate to say it but I think he knew they were going to die soon. A bit sad when you think about it. One of my daily tasks I need to write in a journal. In his notes on the list he mentioned it helped to write about each day and it served as record of what happened each day in the village. I may see if I can find his journals and maybe get some much needed advice. What would be better is if his ghost came around. Its a bit selfish I know. I need all the help and advice I can get.

Death in the family
Not only did I lose my adopted parents but I really liked Lord and Lady Randwulf. Now I know why they were always so nice to me. I wonder if they would have at some point told me I was their daughter of if they would have kept it a secret. I have a hard enough time trying to run my own life how am I supposed to run an entire village and keep everyone alive?

Meet the Lady of Randwulf Castle
I do not know where to start. This is all to much to handle right now. I lost my father and a few years later my mom died leaving me alone. It was tough each day trying to fish and collect things to sell. I received a lot of pity stares from the other villagers. Some bought my wares out of pity while others brushed me off. Jump forward a few years both Lord and Lady Randwulf die suddenly. Some people tried to take the role of new Lord and failed only creating more problems for the rightful heir.
So to my surprise I found out that I am the lost child of Lord and Lady Randulf. Apparently, they had me before they married. In fear they found a couple to take me in and raise me as their own. The scholars had to prove to the villagers that I am indeed the heir. Now I have to move into this huge castle and try to show them that I can run the village and bring them back to the glory days when my real parents were alive.
Well, here goes nothing.

The Missing Heir
Living in the medieval times life can be hard. Depending on your station your life could be very hard or very easy. Growing up you had very loving parents. You father was a local fisherman while your mother tended to the family and sold the odds and ends your father caught.
You may not have been rich or well off but your parents gave you the best life they could with what they had.
You had begged your father to let you go fishing with him and at times he would say yes. Tragedy would strike.
The winter was very hard that year and your father resorted to breaking the ice and trying to catch fish so your family would not starve. Both you and your mother pleaded with him not to go. It looked like a snow storm was going to move in. He ignored your pleas promising to be home by curfew.
The storm came with a vengeance. Curfew came and went. Your father was nowhere to be found. Knowing the punishment for breaking curfew you left your home in search of a guard leaving your mother who was in a state of worry. Unfortunately, you could not find a guard willing to help you and of course you were told you needed to volunteer an extra day on top of your daily tasks at home. On the way home, you searched for him with no luck. Sleep would not come easy that night for your mother and yourself.
You would be woken by the screams of your mother. Rushing to the front room you find a guard from the morning shift trying to console her with no luck. He informs you that your father was found having gotten lost in the snow storm that hit. He was found by the guards who took over this morning. He had tried to take shelter with no luck and froze to death.
The guard expressed his condolences leaving you to tend to your mother promising to find out why the night guards refused to search for him and told you that you did not need to work an extra day of volunteering unless you wanted to.
Less than a week after your father passed away your mother died of a broken heart leaving you alone in the world. Thankfully your mother had taught you how to care for yourself in the event you were left an orphan. It would be spring before your parents were buried in the local cemetery.
Being a teenager life became even more difficult trying to keep up with your studies and your duties not only around the house but your duties to the village.
A year after your parents died both the Lord and Lady that oversaw the village died suddenly leaving your village without a leader. It would prove to be a hard two years as people tried to take the role of leader but failing the village. People stopped coming to spend their hard-earned money and the community garden had been destroyed by a hard winter.
Now a mystery plagued the village. The will had finally been found and turns out that the Lord and Lady had a child before they were married. In fear of what their families would say they found a family willing to take the baby in and raise it as their own. This was difficult for both parents but knew it was best. This unknown baby was named the heir of the Castle and the village. One small problem arose, they had no idea who the adopted parents were so they had no idea where the child who now is a young adult is.
If your village did not have enough problems the Author who provided books for all to read has either disappeared or died around the same time as the passing of the Lord and Lady. Small talk and gossip spread like wild fire through the village that you were the heir. You sure did look like you had a good mix of the Lord and lady in you.
Scholar’s continued to search for any scrolls that gave the name of the child and who the child was raised by. Finally, the scrolls had been found and it named you as the heir and your parents as the adopted parents. The entire village was in shock including you. Now you must bring the village back to its golden years and bring back people to trade and buy with the villagers.
As for the Author that mystery must wait for another day. You have a village to save. Only time will tell if you can handle such a task.
